The new Ryan Phillippe

Okay, we admit it: we didn't recognize the recent pic (left) of Ryan Phillippe. He's all buff, and big, and mature. Whatever happened to the young man we fell in love with in 'Cruel Intentions'?

The 34-year-old actor courted fame at an early age. He appeared on the soap 'One Life to Live,' and played daytime TV's first gay teen. He then went on to star in movies like 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' '54,'  and 'Flags of Our Fathers.'

Perhaps the new, more meaty look is for his next role. Perhaps it's just Ryan getting older. What do you think?
