Republican takes Ted Kennedy's Senate seat

Scott Brown wins Ted Kennedy's Senate seatAfter 46 years under Ted Kennedy, the former Democratic stronghold of Massachusetts has fallen into Republican hands. Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley to claim the state's Senate seat.

This makes lawyer and former model Brown, 50, the 41st Republican in the Senate. Bad news for Democrats who will no longer be able to prevent a GOP filibuster, calling into question President Obama's agenda on health care and climate change.

And don't even get Brown started on gay rights. The media dubbed 'hunk' may have appeared in his birthday suit - way back in 1982 in an issue of 'Cosmopolitan' - but he is a total prude when it comes to basic human rights. He is certainly not down with gay marriage.

Still, you have to feel sorry for a guy who can so easily cover his manhood with a staple.
