Move over gerbil, Buzz Lightyear is coming in!

CNN's Jeanne Moos gets the best stories. Her latest piece is on a new book by two emergency room doctors, featuring 100 things people have gotten stuck up the bum. From tweezers to baby shoes, people seem to be using their butts as a very literal version of the Fanny Pack. 

Stuck Up co-author Rich E. Dreben said some of the excuses for how something got up there are questionable at best, and include "fell" or "tripped" or "jumped into bed" and "landed on the object."

"Cassette tapes are probably not common at all these days," Marty A. Sindhian, M.D., said. "I don't expect to see any more of those in X-rays. But someone did get an iPod stuck inside them, so I think that shows that the choice of objects that are inserted reflects the larger culture."

"We hope it takes away the stigma of people seeking emergency treatment," he added. "Plus, this is the stuff that really interests laypeople."
