You can now google 'bisexual'

Because of the hard work of several bisexual advocates, Google has agreed to unblock "bisexual" from its search algorithm.

Initially the word had been on a list of banned words that are not included in the Auto Complete and Instant Search functions.

"It's not every day one of the biggest companies in the world changes its mind, but we are thankful that Google now sees bisexual people just like everyone else," explained Faith Cheltenham, of the bisexual advocacy group BiNet USA. "It will take time for bisexual search terms to be ranked as they were before the ban, but now bisexual people and their allies have a fighting chance to be seen, heard, and understood."

One more way to piss off Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council. We approve!
