Is singer Sam Smith planning to come out soon?

UK singer Sam Smith, best known for his hit singles "Stay With Me" and “La La La,“ has never officially declared his sexuality. However, he seems to be hinting - in less than subtle ways - that he may be batting for our team!

He once said that he aspired to become a successful “diva.”

He told the New York Times that he was flattered to be considered a sex symbol like his idols George Michael and Elton John. (Elton a sex symbol? Um, okay.)

And now he has released the video for his latest single “Leave Your Lover,” in which he seems to be getting involved with another man. Quick, call the 7 members of 1 Million Moms!

Maybe he's preparing to come out of the closet. Maybe he's already out and doesn't feel the need to make any grand statements. Maybe it doesn't really matter, as long as he keeps giving us good music.
